Michael Dan, President

Michael has a diverse background that includes neurosurgery, medical research, biotechnology, and portfolio management. After five years as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at LSU School of Medicine, New Orleans, Michael left medicine to become the CEO of Novopharm Biotech, an early phase, publicly traded, drug discovery company. He is currently President of Regulus Investments Inc. and Gemini Power Corp. He is also a trustee of the Paloma Foundation and a member of the board of directors of the Canadian Friends of Haifa University.

Michael holds an MD degree from The University of Toronto; a PhD in Experimental Medicine from McGill University; and, an MBA from Tulane University. He is a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgeons.

Alastair Wilson, Senior Technical Advisor

Alastair has spent over 40 years in the power utility business. He is currently Vice President - Operations of Gemini Power Corp. He has worked in all areas of Hydraulic Generation, Thermal Generation (Coal & Gas) and distributed Diesel Generation. His career has included roles as a technical specialist and as a senior manager of hydraulic generation in the areas of project development, operations and maintenance, water management, training, program planning, feasibility assessments and business development. Alastair's experience has included work with Canadian public, private and overseas utilities.

Alastair is a Registered Professional Engineer APEO.

Bernie M. Farber, Sr. Vice President, Government & External Relations

Bernie M. Farber, a graduate of Ottawa's Carleton University is the former Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Jewish Congress. He has over 30 years of experience in government and public relations, human rights advancement as well as a long and respected relationship with Canada's First Nations which is a key partner in Gemini's ongoing clean and sustainable energy development strategy.

Bernie is an accomplished speaker and author who has written for numerous Canadian and international publications on human and civil rights. He has a weekly column in the Huffington Post and has written for the Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, National Post, Ottawa Citizen and a host of magazines and other publications.
